Did you know – there’s something about the moon?

11th May 2012
Did you know that the Moon is gradually becoming more distant from the earth? It recedes from us at the rate of a little under 4 centimeters every year (1 and a half inches), which in human terms is about the length our finger nails grow during the same period.

In other words, no matter how desperately we reach out for the Moon, we will always find that it eludes us and escapes our grasp. I must say that is a most reassuring notion.
