Including Tudor, Georgian, Victorian and the Belle Epoque.
History - there's an awful lot out there, some of it more interesting than others. On Endymion it is mostly early modern history: from the 16th century upwards that we explore. This covers Tudor, Elizabethan, Stuart, Georgian, Regency, Victorian and the Belle Epoque. Most blogposts here with an historical element can be slotted into one or more of these periods - and I rather love them all.
The past wasn’t perfect, but the articles you'll find here tend to focus on the positive rather than the negative. We celebrate the arts, the music and the poetry of earlier times - including the ideas and achievements of those who helped make the world a better place.
